Amman, Jordan – xx April 2014Nabil Foods, the most prominent name in the frozen food industry in Jordan and the region, recently participated in the 21st edition of HORECA Beirut, the region’s largest annual food and hospitality trade show. This year’s exhibition was held over four days in April at the Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Centre (BIEL).

Roughly 1,800 key industry decision makers were in attendance at HORECA Beirut 2014. The exhibition attracted the participation of more than 300 companies spanning the breadth of the industry and originating from more than 14 countries, including Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Turkey, Australia, Spain, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Nabil Foods was a prominent fixture at the event, with an entire wing of the convention center dedicated to displaying hundreds of the company’s frozen food products, including cold cuts, poultry, pastries, ready meals, sweets and snacks.

Discussing the significance of this annual event, Nabil Foods Marketing Director Farah Rassam highlighted the strategic role that expos like HORECA play for Nabil, helping drive the company’s continuous efforts to expand its client base and establish new marketing channels. Rassam added that exhibitions like this one also provide an invaluable opportunity for Nabil Foods to enhance its knowledge and expertise by learning about the latest technologies, challenges and opportunities emerging out of the industry.

HORECA Beirut 2014 hosted events and exhibitors that ran the gamut of the food and hospitality industry, highlighting everything from innovations in food and beverage to the latest trends in packaging, tableware and catering. The event included competitions for industry professionals, food and beverage labs, live cooking demonstrations, and opportunities to engage with key industry experts.

This event is the third food and hospitality expo Nabil has participated in this year, following its noteworthy exhibits at Gulfood 2014 and HORECA Kuwait 2014.

Nabil Foods was founded in 1945 and today is considered one of the most prominent names in the frozen food industry in Jordan and the region. The company produces more than 200 chicken, meat, and fish products, along with a line of ready-to-eat frozen meals and desserts. Nabil also supplies a number of international fast food chains with food products for their operations.
